"I'one thousand with Stupid" is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from Season 2. In this episode, SpongeBob pretends to exist stupid to brand Patrick look smart in front of his parents.

Synopsis

SpongeBob, hoping to go jellyfishing with Patrick, finds him aimlessly cleaning upwards his home and making piece of furniture out of sand. In distress, Patrick informs SpongeBob that the post-obit day is Starfish Day, and his parents are planning to visit. Patrick sadly reveals that his parents consider him to exist quite unintelligent, and he tin't bring himself to face up their condescension. Patrick and SpongeBob come with a plan: SpongeBob will deed similar an idiot and so Patrick's parents will see their son equally comparatively smarter, which Patrick readily accepts.

The next twenty-four hours, a married starfish couple arrives at Patrick's house, and Patrick thinks they are his parents. Patrick shows them within his house, where they proceed to treat him similar a child later on he brings them drinks. SpongeBob soon makes his archway, wearing his karate helmet to look stupid and interim in a strange manner. Patrick happily recognizes the starfish couple as his existent parents, and they are happy to run into him besides, especially with his pants on. Janet and Marty then remember that they don't even accept a son, and they exit Patrick to share a laugh with his existent family, just as the rock slams shut on top of them while the episode ends.

    • In addition, an image in "Grandma's Kisses" shows Patrick feeding SpongeBob a pumpkin through a funnel.
  • Thomas F. Wilson and Susan Boyajian voice both Patrick'southward faux parents, Marty and Janet, also as his real parents, Herb and Margie.
  • This was the last episode to premiere during the Totally Twisted Telly event.

  • Since May of 2005, this episode and its sis episode appears to be washed out and less saturated on Nickelodeon, appears washed out and less saturated on airings on Nickelodeon, Nicktoons (until October 2019), and TeenNick. The desaturation and loss of sharpness could have occurred during the copying process when three scenes from the previous episode were cut, though this theory remains unconfirmed. Though digital version of this episode is currently available on Amazon, iTunes, and Paramount+, and airings on Nicktoons after October 2019.
